Cimtap
Description
Cimtap is a water-miscible, non-nitrite, concentrated blend of active extreme pressure (EP) type lubricants in paste form.
Application
Cimtap is recommended for tapping and whirling operations ranging from hand tapping to high production automatic operations of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is compatible with al Cimcool cutting fluids and can be added to improve lubrication.

Increases production - works best at high tapping speeds.
Increases tap life - eliminates chip welding and tap breakage.
Clean - readily mixes with water and does not leave deposits on machine.
Compatible with Cimcool products, disperses in Cimcool mixes and adds to the cutting properties.
Pleasant to use - does not smoke or smell.
Method of Application
Cimtap can be used on steel, cast iron, stainless and nickel alloys or aluminium castings in the following ways:
Apply to tap undiluted by brushing or dipping.
Dilute with 1 to 4 parts water and apply with a can.
For heavy duty operations, add up to 5% of Cimtap to Cimcool mixes.
Removal
Easy to remove. Just clean with water or alkaline cleaner.
Handling and Storage
Protect from freezing.
Packaging
- Available in boxes containing twenty-four x 1 liter pails or on pallets containing twenty x 5 liter pails. Also available in 110 and 30 liter drums.
